Today, the 7th of September, is my wedding anniversary! Yaayyy!! To celebrate, I’ve decided to write something about my marriage and share with you a very short interview I did with my husband this morning. I tried as much as possible to capture his words candidly without sugar-coating anything. I had told him earlier to be as real and truthful as he feels, and I guess that as you read through, you would attest to that.
Sunday 7:50am
“Please, how do I get to MFM* from here?” I heard a voice ask timidly.
I turned back to see an elderly-looking woman asking people randomly at the bus stop.
The idea of naming this series “The Love Bug” came from a species of march flies called lovebugs. These insects are actually interesting as they have interesting and unique characteristics different from other insects. For example, they remain coupled in flight during and after mating for up to several days!
Tina stirred awake and broke out in a cold sweat. She glanced at the wall clock in her room, it read past 2 a.m. So, it was just a dream, She thought as she sat up and wondered exactly what this dream could mean. She had been having funny dreams of late. She got off the bed and brought out her torch light as there wasn't electricity.
