The Pain, Prologue

‘Argghhhhh…..!!!! Leave me alone! I cannot let her go! She is mine!!’ screamed Tina as Pastor Andrew laid hands on her. She was already on the floor writhing and wriggling like someone in pain. Her voice had taken an unnatural tone, sounding like someone being strangled.

‘I said get out of her in the name of Jesus!’ Pastor Andrew said as he held her head.

‘Nooooo!!! I will not get out, she is mine! Mine! Mine!! Mine!!!’ the spirit once again said through Tina. By this time, Pastor Andrew was getting tired. He had been at this for almost six hours with no result. Members of the deliverance team had initially being praying for Tina and had called on him when there wasn’t any positive result. They had been at it for almost three hours and began to wonder what had gone wrong. What was happening? Why weren’t they getting a breakthrough? What are they not doing right? They all wondered as they watched her on the floor.

Tina stirred awake and broke out in a cold sweat. She glanced at the wall clock in her room, it read past 2am.

So, it was just a dream, She thought as she sat up and wondered exactly what this dream could mean. She had been having funny dreams of late. She got off the bed and brought out her torch light as there wasn’t electricity. She picked up her bible and began to read the book of Psalms.
